We are committed to ensuring website accessibility for people with disabilities, including those with visual, hearing, cognitive and motor impairments. Our objective is to not only meet the Americans with Disabilities Act standards of full and equal access to our website but to exceed the legal requirement by following technical best practices outlined in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and other recommendations set forth in the accessibility community.

What have we done?

In August 2023 we undertook various automated and manual audits to identify problem areas and improve on them. This included online audits with wave.webaim.org, in-browser audits with Chrome Lighthouse Accessibility, and manual testing using keyboard navigation. We used the results of these tests to remediate missing alt tags, missing form labels, and to strengthened keyboard accessibility. We also added the WP Accessibility plugin which allows visitors with vision problems to toggle text size and color contrast.
